Achievements

During my time at Dickinson College, I've had a few achievements that I'm especially proud of.

Richard M. Sheeley Scholarship Winner

2012-2013
2013-2014

This scholarship is given based on outstanding academic achievement and potential in chemistry. One chemistry student at Dickinson College is nominated by faculty to recieve this award.

I am the first student to recieve the award twice.

Baird Sustainability Fellow

2015

The Baird Sustainability Fellows program recognizes graduating seniors who have advanced sustainability goals on or beyond the Dickinson campus through excellence in scholarship, leadership and service.

Twelve Class of 2015 applicants met the rigorous standards of the honor, as determined by an interdisciplinary selection committee, and were accepted to participate in the half-credit Baird Honors Colloquium. The Spring 2015 colloquium will be a unique, interdisciplinary course focused on collaborative projects, advancing student research and professional interests, and building skills for a sustainable world.

Stephen Pollock Undergraduate Research Grant

2014

The Northeastern Section of the Geological Society offers grants to support individual research by sophomore or junior undergraduates attending universities within geographic boundaries of the Northeastern Section. Students should have the objective of presenting the results of their research at a Northeastern Section or Annual GSA meeting.

Student Sustainability Champion

2014

Pennsylvania Environmental Resource Consortium (PERC) Member Schools are invited to nominate Campus Sustainability Champions (CSC) for recognition at the PERC annual conference.

PERC’s CSCs are students, faculty, staff and administrators of Pennsylvania colleges and universities who have made important contributions in advancing sustainability on campus, in the community, or in the state. Contributions can be in areas of campus operations-including food recovery, teaching, research, co-curricular programs, campus culture, and community service.
